Gemma and Pierre's Urban Wedding

I love an urban wedding. There’s something so beautiful about gritty concrete mixed with the beauty of a wedding and when you throw in a groom willing to wear a dinosaur mask… I’ve pretty much got my dream shoot. I absolutely loved capturing Pierre and Gemma’s day. They were both so easy to work with and super keen for a bit of abnormal hence the dino mask. Laughs with the boys in the morning, followed by a lot of gushing over Gemma’s natural beauty, her beautiful flowers and her mind blowing dress. We had decided on a first look so they could enjoy time with their guests after their ceremony. These two often bmx around the city so Wynyard Quarter was an obvious choice and we were blessed with the perfect weather considering this was the end of May. Thank you Weather Gods! Ceremony and Reception were held at Mantells Mt Eden which was a perfect fit for an Autumn wedding. You can’t beat a roaring fire on an autumn day and Mantells provides multiple. Huge loves to Gemma and Pierre for entrusting me with your day, filled with so much laughter my cheeks hurt x

Georgie from Green Point did such an incredible job with the bouquets and pins. I feel in love- https://greenpoint.co.nz/

Gemma’s beautiful dress was made by the talented Nicola Dawson Design. I know how hard it was for Gemma to find that perfect dress and Nicola created exactly what Gemma was looking for- http://www.nicoladawsondesign.co.nz/
